With strong winds and rain making the beach impossible, plans had to change quickly. But what followed was a truly unforgettable wedding filled with laughter, emotion, and stunning moments.

Even without the beach ceremony, the venue provided a stunning backdrop for the entire day. The dramatic skies from the passing storm added depth and atmosphere, creating a slightly moody but incredibly romantic setting—perfect for natural wedding photography.
Relaxed Morning Preparations
The morning preparations were filled with energy and excitement. Sal looked amazing, surrounded by close friends and family, with those special moments of anticipation and a few happy tears.
Tim, meanwhile, was in great spirits, enjoying time with his groomsmen and making the most of every moment before the ceremony. These relaxed, candid moments are such an important part of telling the full wedding story and are always a key focus of my documentary wedding photography style.

Although the original beach plans didn’t go ahead, we still made the most of the incredible surroundings at Bach Wen.

The day began with a relaxed and joyful atmosphere as preparations got underway.
Paula looked absolutely stunning, surrounded by her closest friends and family, with plenty of laughter (and a few happy tears) along the way. These moments are always so important in telling the full story of a wedding day.
Meanwhile, Ashley was equally excited, sharing a few laughs with his groomsmen before heading to the ceremony.
The anticipation in the air made for some fantastic, natural photographs that really captured the emotion of the morning.
